Act
In 2002, the
Child, Family and Community Service Act (CFCSA) was amended to clarify the
duty to report child protection concerns.

All young
people in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development
have rights.
These rights are set out in a law called the Child, Family and Community
Service Act. The Guide for Young People in Care explains your rights under
the act, and how they affect you. It also tells you what you can do if
you feel your rights are not being respected.
