processes that support it" |

British Columbia
is home to a rich diversity and abundance of native species and habitats.
Programs within the Ministry of Environment endeavour
to conserve biodiversity, provide a variety of opportunities for the
use and enjoyment of wildlife in B.C., and maintain a balance between
the needs of wildlife and the needs of the people.
Biodiversity & Wildlife
in British Columbia are managed through programs
in Victoria and regions (see map).
