PMRA's electronic label capability is named ELSE (Electronic Labels: Search and Evaluation). ELSE currently provides electronic searching capability. In the future, it will serve as an electronic tool for evaluation.
Electronic search tool: there are 3 methods of searching label information:
- a key word, full-text search of the entire label collection;
- a search of one or more specific information elements (from a pick list of 6); or
- a precision search with the combined functionality of options 1 and 2.
The PMRA has provided a zipped file
containing the product information fields that are used in the ELSE product
information search. Users may download the file for their own use. This
transcript service is offered by the Pest Management Regulatory Agency to
provide efficient searching for product information. The PMRA does not provide
any guarantee or assurance that the information obtained through this service
is accurate, current or correct, and is therefore not liable for any loss
resulting, directly or indirectly, from reliance upon this service.
The data for this zip file consists of
all REGISTERED and HISTORICAL products that have an expiry date > Dec 31
1995. The zip file contains an MS Access database consisting of four MS Access
tables: a Product table, an Ingredient table, a Registrants table and an Agents table. For details
on the relationship between the four tables, see the Relationship diagram
within the MS Access database.
