Every
year the Congratulatory Messages Program coordinates thousands of
official greetings for the residents of British Columbia on significant
birthdays and wedding anniversaries.
Please note that nine weeks notice is required for greetings.
While we are pleased to accept requests with less than the required
notice, we cannot guarantee that the messages will be provided by
the celebration date.
Whether it is
parents celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary or a grandparent
celebrating a 75th birthday, congratulatory messages are available,
upon request, from the following officials:
Eligibility
Residents are eligible to receive greetings from the above noted
officials. The table below indicates which birthdays and anniversaries
qualify for congratulatory messages from various officials, as well
as the type of verification required (if any).

a Greeting
To receive a greeting you must fill out a Congratulatory Message
Request form and return it to the Protocol and Events Branch. Please
contact us to have a copy
mailed or faxed to you. The form is also available electronically:
