Welcome to WCAT

Welcome to the website for the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal (WCAT) of British Columbia. This site provides information about WCAT and various aspects of workers' compensation appeal matters. WCAT was created by Bill 63, the Workers Compensation Amendment Act (No. 2), 2002. Effective March 3, 2003, this independent tribunal replaced the Workers' Compensation Review Board and the Appeal Division of the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB).

This website is intended to help you with various aspects of the appeal process. The 'How to Appeal' section provides an explanation of how to initiate an appeal, access to various appeal forms, links to WCAT publications and other resources that may be helpful.
