WELCOME TO THE
PROPERTY TAXATION BRANCH
The branch is the province's rural property taxation
agency. We bill and collect taxes on over 325,000 taxable properties located outside
municipal boundaries using assessment information provided by BC Assessment.
The branch also administers the Property Transfer Tax,
which is a registration tax which applies to all transferees who register transfers
of property at a Land Title Office. For
