Bridging Employment Program Note

The province's $4 million Bridging Employment Program assists clients who have experienced violence or abuse overcome employment barriers and make successful transitions to sustainable employment.

The program is operated by the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance. Read their Bridging Employment Program factsheet.

The program, focused on skill building and support, prepares clients for:

  • participation in the BC Employment Program through the Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance;
  • post-secondary or secondary education/high school programs; or
  • placement in part- or full-time work.
