Treasury
Board Staff is responsible for developing and reviewing government's
economic, fiscal and taxation policies. It provides analysis and advice
to Treasury Board (the Cabinet committee
responsible for budget and management matters) and to the Minister of Finance.
The division has three branches:
In addition, Treasury Board Staff is responsible for the Graduate Development Program which recruits talented university graduates into a two-year program to prepare for management and leadership positions within the ministry and throughout the British Columbia Public Service.
