British Columbia Transmission Corporation
The British Columbia Transmission Corporation is a provincial Crown corporation, which was formed on May 29, 2003. Legislation requires that 100 per cent of the shares of the Corporation be held by the Minister for the Crown. BCTC is independent of BC Hydro, with a separate and independent board of directors. It is not a subsidiary and it is not controlled by BC Hydro.
