Energy costs are volatile across North America, and that's not likely to change. Partners from a number of provincial government departments and Crown corporations have joined forces to bring you Saskatchewan Energy Share, to help you decrease your energy use and increase your savings.

There are two parts to the Saskatchewan Energy Share plan: short-term assistance and long-term solutions.

Energy saving tips
 
 

> On a windy day, feel for leaks or use a couple of incense sticks to find leaks around windows, electrical outlets, vents and exterior doors. As well, look for spider webs. If there's a web, there's a draft.   More...

>Clean or replace the filter every one to two months. A dirty filter reduces the airflow and forces the furnace to run longer to heat your home.  More...

 
> Lower your thermostat by four to five degrees Celsius (seven to nine degrees Fahrenheit) at night and when no one is at home.  More...

> Plug gaps around pipes, ducts, fans and vents that go through walls, ceilings and floors from heated to unheated spaces.   More...
