- Aboriginal Urban Management Authorities Program
The Aboriginal Urban Management Authorities Program promotes Aboriginal community development, enabling Indian and Métis people to develop their own service delivery systems in urban settings.
- Canada - Saskatchewan Infrastructure Program (CSIP)
The Canada - Saskatchewan Infrastructure Program (CSIP) is a five-year (2001-2006) program announced by the federal government in the 2000 budget to create a national physical infrastructure program. The CSIP has been structured to reflect both Canada's and Saskatchewan's commitment to improving the quality of life for all Canadians.
- Clarence Campeau Development Fund
Through the Department of First Nations and Métis Relations, the Government of Saskatchewan provides funds to the Clarence Campeau Development Fund to facilitate Métis economic and business development.
- Community Donations Program
Any community-based organization can log on, select, and receive used government furniture and office equipment, free of charge. - Community Economic Development
Rural Development supports Community Economic Development by identifying economic development partners and assisting them to leverage resources and pursue opportunities to enhance wealth and job creation in the province.
- Community Initiatives Fund (CIF)
In Saskatchewan, many community activities in culture, youth and recreation are supported in part with proceeds from lottery ticket sales and casino profits. A portion of casino profits from the Regina and Moose Jaw casinos are distributed to community initiatives through the Community Initiatives Fund (CIF).
- Community Planning
The Community Planning Branch of Government Relations provides planning tools and services to assist municipalities with planning and development.
- First Nations And Metis Women's Initiative
Under the First Nations and Metis Women's Initiative, First Nations and Metis Relations enables provincial Aboriginal women's organizations to undertake special projects and policy development activities of benefit to their respective memberships.
- First Nations Fund
The Government of Saskatchewan and the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations negotiated an agreement on gaming which established the First Nations Fund. The Fund facilitates First Nations social, economic and business development.
- Meadow Lake Tribal Council Self-government Negotiations
Saskatchewan joined ongoing self-government negotiations between Meadow Lake Tribal Council and Canada in 1996. Saskatchewan's involvement at the negotiating table protects provincial interests and ensures that any arrangements reached with respect to on-reserve self-government are compatible with provincial laws and practices. First Nations and Métis Relations is the lead agency for the Government of Saskatchewan.
- Municipal Grant Programs
The Municipal Relations Division of Government Relations administers various grants to municipalities. These grants include exclusive provincial programs and joint federal/provincial programs.
- Neighbourhood Development Organization Program (NDO)
Saskatchewan Regional Economic and Co-operative Development and Saskatchewan Community Resources jointly provide organizational development assistance and funding to support multi-purpose NDOs established by the residents of low-income neighbourhoods, to undertake community economic development activities.
- Northern Capital Grants Program
The Northern Capital Grants Program provides financial and technical assistance to northern communities for the construction or upgrading of municipal facilities and for the acquisition of municipal equipment.
- Problem Gambling Help Line
The Problem Gambling Help Line provides help to people with gambling problems and their families. Callers receive confidential, professional service from trained counsellors.
- Regional Economic Development Authorities (REDAs)
REDAs are voluntary, community-owned organizations that take a grassroots approach to growing their regional economies based on natural trading areas.
- Regional Enterprise Centres
These "single window" centres are being developed as a means to co-ordinate services, to assist entrepreneurship and small business development in communities or regions and to help local economies grow and create jobs.
- Saskatchewan Home Energy Improvement Program (SHEIP)
The Saskatchewan Home Energy Improvement Program (SHEIP) assists low and moderate-income homeowners and rental property owners housing low-income tenants to undertake energy efficiency retrofits.
- Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC)
Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) provides funding for a number of ongoing and new housing programs and services for low- to moderate-income households who could not otherwise afford them.
- Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
The Province of Saskatchewan is looking for immigrant business persons, farmers and skilled workers who can help us expand and diversify our growing economy. For immigrants who wish to move to Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) can provide an alternative means of entry to Canada to federal immigration classes.
- Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund

- Specific Claims (Land)
Specific Claims arise out of a situation where a First Nation has had reserve land wrongfully or unfairly taken away by the federal government. Saskatchewan provides assistance in the transfer of land to reserve status.
- Status of Women
The Status of Women Office is the provincial government agency which works to achieve social, economic and political equality for women.
- Treaty Land Entitlement
Treaty Land Entitlement is a process whereby the federal and provincial governments are fulfilling commitments to resolve outstanding Treaty land entitlement claims with First Nations. The TLE process exists because in some instances First Nations did not receive the land that was promised to them in the Treaties.
