- Adoption Services
Saskatchewan Community Resources and Employment offers programs in domestic adoption, assisted adoption, intercountry adoption, and post-adoption.
- Building Independence
The Building Independence - Investing in Families strategy has begun to redesign the social assistance program in Saskatchewan. The strategy helps parents provide for the basic needs of their children while accessing training and employment opportunities. The strategy's objectives are to reduce the depth of child and family poverty; decrease dependence on social assistance; reduce the trend towards generational social assistance dependence; and enhance the accountability of the social assistance program.

- Child Day Care Program
The Child Day Care Program helps families access quality child care by regulating caregivers, and by providing subsidies to parents.
- Child Protection
Child protection staff of Saskatchewan Community Resources and Employment investigate reports of child abuse, neglect or serious conflict between parents and children, under authority of The Child and Family Services Act.
- Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
The mandate of the Employee and Family Assistance Program is to offer professional assessment, referral and counselling support to the work and personal health needs of employees by providing workplace prevention and intervention services. The program is voluntary and confidential.
- Family Health Benefits Program
The Family Health Benefits Program is administered by Saskatchewan Health and provides families who receive the Saskatchewan Child Benefit and/or the Saskatchewan Employment Supplement with additional health benefits.
- Family Violence Services
Violence and abuse against anyone are unacceptable. Family violence is the abuse of one family member by another. Women, men and children can all be victims of family violence. The Government of Saskatchewan is working in partnership with communities, families and individuals to foster family relationships free of violence and abuse.

- Maintenance Enforcement
The Maintenance Enforcement Office helps collect maintenance or support payments ordered by the court or agreed to by two parties. The Municipal Transit Assistance for People with Disabilities Program provides financial assistance to cities and towns to support transit services for persons with physical or mental disabilities, wheelchair passengers and ambulatory passengers.

The Office of Disability Issues (ODI) serves as a focal point for provincial government initiatives on disability policy and performs a co-ordinating role throughout government in addressing disability issues and policies.

The Problem Gambling Help Line provides help to people with gambling problems and their families. Callers receive confidential, professional service from trained counsellors.
- Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP)
The Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) provides financial assistance to claimants in a municipality that has been designated eligible as a result of a natural disaster resulting in substantial loss or damage to uninsurable, essential property.

The Provincial Training Allowance is grant funding to assist with the costs of living for low income adult clients enrolled in basic education and bridging programs.

- SchoolPLUS
SchoolPLUS is a new conceptualization of schools as centres of learning, support and community for the children and families they serve. It more actively involves family and community members, to help provide all children and young people with the supports they need for healthy development and learning success. These supports may include health, nutrition, recreation, culture, social and justice services for children and their families, as well as advanced learning opportunities for adults.
- Social Assistance Program
The Social Assistance Program is a program of last resort for families and individuals who, for various reasons, including disability, illness, low income or unemployment, cannot meet basic living costs.
- Social Insurance Number
A Social Insurance Number (SIN) is a nine-digit number that you need to work in Canada or to have access to government programs and benefits.
- Supervised Access/Exchange Services
