Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds comes into
force on November 1, 2006
The
Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments)
Amendment Regulations, 2006 (No. 2)
come into force
on November 1, 2006. The regulations adopt National Instrument
81-107 Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds.
NI 81-107 is an
independent oversight regime that applies to all publicly
offered investment funds and provides for the independent review
and oversight of the conflicts faced by the fund manager in
operation of the investment fund.
The Commission
regulations also make consequential amendments to the following
instruments:
