CROP INSURANCE DEADLINE NOVEMBER 15
November 15 is the final date for Saskatchewan Crop Insurance customers to submit 2006 production declarations and post-harvest claims. "Both yield and quality losses are covered under the Crop Insurance multi-peril insurance contract," Saskatchewan Crop Insurance General Manager Stan Benjamin said. "However, if producers are unable to complete harvest by the deadline, they must request an extension of insurance before November 15." If approved, an extension of insurance protects against yield and grade losses that occur after November 15. Production declarations must be submitted before a post-harvest claim can be registered. Declarations can be completed by phone, fax, mail, office visit, or online through CropConnect at www.saskcropinsurance.com To contact the nearest Saskatchewan Crop Insurance customer service office, call 1-888-935-0000.-30-
