Northern Teacher Education Program (NORTEP)
Northern Professional Access College (NORPAC)
NORTEP is a four year teacher education program designed
specifically for northerners interested in obtaining a Bachelor
of Education degree. NORPAC is three years of Arts and Science
programming to allow students to pursue other careers such
as law, social work, health, human justice, etc.
This program
is funded by Saskatchewan Learning, the Federal Government,
Indian Bands and Tribal Councils. This program is administered
by the NORTEP Council, through a cooperatiave arrangement with
the Northern Lights School Division and the Universities of
Regina and Saskatchewan.
