Saskatchewan's First Nations casinos were created through an agreement between the Government and the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN). The slot machines in the SIGA casinos are owned by SLGA and operated by Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC), in compliance with the Criminal Code of Canada.

This casino offers Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) and a number of table games. Prairieland receives all the profits from the table games and a percentage of the VLT net profits. The remaining VLT net profits go to the Government's General Revenue Fund to help pay for essential programs and services such as health care, highways and education.
