Agent): Colleen has worked as a Client Service Representative with
Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food for the past 15 years. Colleen farms

Agent): Kathy worked as a Client Service Representative with Saskatchewan
Agriculture and Food since 1982. She has 22 years of experience working
with the farming sector and also has a farming background. |

Biccum, (Resource Agent): Prior to joining the Agriculture Knowledge
Centre, Bobbie worked with the Farm Credit Corporation. Bobbie has

Thiele Reilly, (Resource Agent): Pat is a part-time resource agent
with the Agriculture Knowledge Centre. Pat has 18 years of experience
working with Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation at the Moose
Jaw location. |

Zimmer, (Resource
Agent): Val also worked as a Client Service Representative for Saskatchewan

Murray
Feist, PAg (Ruminant
Nutrition Specialist): Murray started working with Saskatchewan Agriculture
and Food as a rumen nutrition specialist in 1997. Working out of the
University of Saskatchewan campus, his role has varied from providing
advice on cattle, sheep, cervids and bison nutrition, making presentations
at extension events, doing guest university lectures, and developing
fact sheets, as well as involvement with research and feedstuff development.
Murray has a B.Sc. in Agriculture and a M.Sc. in Ruminant Nutrition
from the University of Saskatchewan. As the Ruminant Nutrition Specialist,
Murray is a source of information on nutrition, feeds and feed management.

David
Larsen, AAg
(Soil/Nutrient Management Specialist): David comes to
Saskatchewan
Agriculture and Food with both experience in agronomic extension and
research. David worked as a Regional Soil Conservation Agrologist
for the Saskatchewan Soil Conservation Association at Weyburn. Previous
to that, he was Manager of the South East Research Farm at Redvers.
He has a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.
As the Soil/Nutrient Management Specialist, David’s focus will
be on the soil-crop interface including the areas of soil management,
soil conservation, soil fertility and organic and inorganic fertilizers. |

Grant
McLean, PAg
(Cropping Management Specialist): Grant brings a wealth of professional
and personal experience to the job. He graduated from the University
of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc. in Agriculture in Soils and Plant Ecology.
Grant worked in the department’s agriculture extension office
at Carnduff in 1973 when it opened, and continued to work there until
joining the Agriculture Knowledge Centre. During his time in southeast
Saskatchewan, he worked extensively with the sunflower industry and
served for several years as member of the National Sunflower Association.
He will use his experience to assist producers with a broad range
of questions and concerns related to cropping choices, rotations,
general crop management and organic crop production. |

Patrick
Mooleki, AAg
(Crop Development Specialist): Patrick holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees
from the University of Saskatchewan , as well as a B.Sc. from the
University of Zambia . His Ph.D. studies and research focused on pulses
in crop rotations in Saskatchewan, and he has subsequently worked
with the University of Saskatchewan, Department of Soil Science, on
livestock manure management and fertilizer application. He has also
worked as a consultant and sessional lecturer in Saskatchewan, and
as a manager of a research centre in Zambia. Patrick will draw on
his research experience and expertise to help producers and the agriculture
industry adapt to the changing opportunities in the agriculture industry
in Saskatchewan. Patrick’s focus will be on new crop production
and the utilization of crops for food and non-food products. |

Dale
Risula, PAg
(Integrated Cropping Management Systems Specialist): Dale comes to
the Agriculture Knowledge Centre with over 22 years experience in
various branches of Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food. Dale worked
as an Extension Agrologist in Moose Jaw for 14 years. Most recently,
he worked as program manager for the crop section of the Agriculture
Research Branch. He has a B.Sc. in Agriculture with a major in Soil
Science from the University of Saskatchewan and an interest in the
crops and special crops area. As Integrated Cropping Management Systems
Specialist, Dale’s main area of focus will be on crop pest management.

Andre
Bonneau ,
AAg (Forage Conversion Specialist): Andre has a B.Sc. in Agriculture
from the University of Saskatchewan , with a major in Rangeland Resources.
Andre worked for several years as a Forage and Livestock Agronomist
with the Battle River Research Group at Camrose, and more recently
with the United Farmers of Alberta at Stettler. As Forage Conversion
Specialist, Andre will be a source of information for producers and
the agriculture industry on forage selection, establishment, renovation,
harvesting, economics and grazing management. |

Christy
Winquist AAg (Beef
- Forage Specialist): Christy has a Bachelor of Science in
Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan with an animal
science major and a minor in rangeland management. She grew
up on a farm in the Ogema, Saskatchewan. Christy previously
worked as a Forage and Livestock Agrologist with the Chinook
Applied Research Association at Oyen, Alberta. Christy's
focus will be on beef management and grazing and forage management. |

Shirley
Baker, (Office
Administrator): Shirley is the office administrator and back-up Resource
Agent for the Agriculture Knowledge Centre. Shirley has a broad range
of experience with Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food, which includes
work with regional offices in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon, and the head
office in Regina. |

Rick
Bjorge, PAg (Manager):
Rick is Manager of the Agriculture Knowledge Centre. He previously
worked as South Region Manager with Saskatchewan Agriculture
and Food and, before that, as a District Agriculturist in
the Westlock and Peace River regions of Alberta. Rick has
a B.Sc. in Agriculture and an M.Ag. from the University of
Alberta. |

Ralph
Howes, PAg (Production
Economics Specialist): Ralph worked as a Regional Farm Management
Agrologist with Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food from 1989 to 2002
before that, as a credit advisor with ACS. Ralph also farmed
for many years and has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience
to offer. Ralph looks forward to working with producers,
researchers,and the industry in the area of business management, economics
and decision making. |
