development and production services for a thriving crop sector.

Specialist services

- Field Crops - for
the provincial dry land cereal, oilseed, special crops (pulse, herb
and spice), organic, forage and rangeland sectors.
- Horticulture -
for the vegetable, potato, fruit, greenhouse, nursery trade and dried
flower sectors.
- Apiculture - for
the honey bee and leafcutter bee sectors.
- Northern Agricultural
Products Unit - for the wild rice and special forest products sectors.
- Pest Management
- weed, insects, and plant diseases.
- Soil Management
- fertility, soil conservation and problem soils.
- Pest Diagnostics
- plant disease, insect identification, plant identification, herbicide
resistance screening - Crop Protection
