Assessing Your Application
As a rough guide, if you're single and live at
home while studying, your yearly expenses will be $5,000 to
$7,000. If you are single and live away from home, you can
expect your expenses to be $10,000 to $12,000. If you have
dependent children, the cost will be even higher.
The formula that we use to calculate how much assistance you'll
receive is simple:
Your Allowable Expenses - Your Expected Contribution = Financial
Need
If your academic or financial situation changes, you must inform Student Financial Assistance immediately. A reassessment of your loan will be done and may result in additional funding, no change or less funding. Change to name or address must also be reported immediately.
