ANGen: Agricultural New Generation Co-operatives Program

The ANGen program is a tool designed to support the development of Agricultural New Generation Co-operatives in Saskatchewan. The program will provide consulting and financial assistance for the development of value-added agriculture projects. The main objective of ANGen is to help eligible groups develop and implement a sound business plan using the new generation co-operative business structure.

Applications are accepted year-round and applicants are normally required to contribute at least 50% of the total project amount.

Funding is generally provided in stages as the project progresses. Funding is available to existing Co-operatives or New Generation Co-operatives as well as groups interested in forming New Generation Co-operatives.

For more information on the ANGEN program and the activities eligible for funding please see our brochure.
