Provincial Dairy Lab - Milk Testing Results

Purpose:

To provide leadership and services which promote expansion of the dairy industry to take advantage of local, national and international food processing and marketing opportunities.

Background:

The Dairy Laboratory provides:

milk quality testing for producers and processors, and milk analysis for the Milk Control Board;
leadership, communication and coordination in identifying dairy industry issues and constraints;
administration and enforcement of dairy regulations pursuant to the Animal Products Act; and
regulatory, inspection and licensing services.

Impact:

These services support the dairy industry and the public by ensuring quality milk production.
