Overview:
Saskatchewan is vast - 651,900 km2 (251,718 mi2) - almost the size of Texas and has 44% of Canada's total cultivated farmland. Quality Saskatchewan crops are used to create leading-edge health products that are exported globally. Medicinal herbs, essential oils, spices and dried culinary herbs, and fresh culinary herbs are also processed in the province. Total value of Saskatchewan crops exported in 2003, was 2,783 M.
