The Saskatchewan Business Tax Review Committee is examining the impact of Saskatchewan's business taxes on the province's economic and business climate.


Business Tax Review Committee Delivers Report to Government

Finance Minister Harry Van Mulligen was pleased to receive the Business Tax Review Committee’s (BTRC) final report to the Saskatchewan Government today. The report examines the province’s business tax regime and recommends areas of improvement to further boost the economy and spur job growth.

Business Tax Review Committee to Hand Off Report Nov. 24


The Business Tax Review Committee has announced Nov. 24th as the date it will present its report to the Minister of Finance.

The Committee will begin public consultations in May to hear views from interested groups and individuals. Public meetings are scheduled in seven communities throughout Saskatchewan.

The final report will be submitted to the Minister of Finance by November 30, 2005. The Government will use the committee's analysis and recommendations during the 2006-07 budget development process.
