Suppression of Terrorism Update
We are collecting the monthly reports required under the United Nations
Suppression of Terrorism Regulations from firms with head offices
in Saskatchewan. Your first report is due on Friday, October 26.
If your firm does not have its head office in Saskatchewan, you do not
have to send your monthly reports to us, even if you are registered in
Saskatchewan.
Also, this is a reminder that the Office of the Superintendent of Financial
Institutions (OSFI) has been adding to the list of names of terrorist
individuals and organizations ("Listed Persons") under the regulations.
Check OSFI’s Web site at www.osfi.bsif.gc.ca
for the updated list before you complete your report.
