National Instrument 33-102 Regulation of Certain Registrant
Activities adopted effective August 1, 2001
The Minister of Justice has approved The Securities Commission (Adoption of National Instruments) Amendment Regulations, 2001 (No. 4). The regulations adopt National Instrument 33-102 Regulation of Certain Registrant
Activities and become effective on August 1, 2001. The Companion Policy to National Instrument 33-102 also becomes effective on the same day.
The following Saskatchewan Local Policy Statements will also be repealed effective August 1, 2001:
- LP 3.3 Principles of Regulation - Distribution of Mutual Funds by Financial Institutions;
- LP 3.4 Principles of Regulation - Full Service and Discount Brokerage Activities of Securities Dealers in Branch of Related Financial Institutions; and
- LP 3.5 Principles of Regulations - Activities of Registrants Related to Financial Institutions
