Abrasive (Sand) Blasting Policy Last modified: June 4, 2003
Permit to Operate pursuant to The Clean Air Act will not be required effective May 1, 2003.  The Abrasive (Sand) Blasting Guideline will provide adequate information to the industry to provide environmental protection.

Agricultural Burning (Remote Site) Last modified: February 12, 2003
In 1999, an inter-agency committee involving the provincial departments of agriculture, health and environment came together to look for practical solutions to reduce agricultural burning and raise awareness of its health, environment and safety impacts.

Updating Saskatchewan's Ozone-depleting Substances Program Last modified: December 18, 2006
Saskatchewan Environment is amending its regulations to incorporate the requirements of the National Action Plan for the Environmental Control of Ozone-Depleting Substances (ODS) and their Halocarbon Alternatives.  The initial step in the change to the program was to roll the now repealed Ozone-depleting Substances Control Act into The Environmental Management and Protection Act, 2002, which is outlined in Updating Saskatchewan's Ozone-depleting Substances Program.  SE is currently working towards amending the regulations.  SE has developed a Discussion Paper to outline the issues and concepts behind these amendments.
