will be backfat scanned and posted. This process will be done at the weigh
scale during the weigh in and vet

The Alberta Cattle Breeders Annual Meeting TUESDAY, MARCH 6, 2007 at 5:30
p.m. International Room. The ACBA Board recognize the importance of
member involvement in the Calgary Bull Sale, this is
the time to input your
ideas and suggestions.
NEW
RULE: BREEDING UNIT
All
registered animals, whether owned by one person or by more than one person,
which are maintained on one farm, are considered to be the production of one
breeding unit. Where more than 1 person or family
member is part of an existing
unit, they may consign under there individual name (Consignor Unit) and sell
with the existing breeding unit or individually in their alphabetical rotation.
NEW RULE: NUMBER OF BULLS
15 entries per breed can be entered under one breeding unit as well as 15 entries can be entered under a cosignor unit.
RELEASE OF BULLS
No bulls may be removed from the sale premises without a release slip, which must be presented to designated staff upon release. Out of courtesy for your fellow cosignors, no bulls will be released out of doors adjacent to the sale ring. No exhibitors or tack may leave until all Breed Sales are completed.
ALCOHOL POLICY
The serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages in a non-licensed area of public building is illegal and in contravention of the AGLC regulations. Additionally, this practice poses liability and safety issues for all stakeholders (directors, agriculutre representatives, youth and you the consignors. The serving and consumption of alcholic beverages is a non-licensed area is prohibited.
