Animal Feed Manufacturers

You are an animal feed manufacturer if your business is registered in Canada and uses milk ingredients in the manufacturer of animal feed, and which meets the eligibility requirements of the Special Milk Class Permit Program.


Distributors

You are a distributor if your business purchases dairy products for resale to Canadian businesses holding a permit under the Special Milk Class Permit Program, or a business purchasing Canadian dairy products and blending them with other products (dairy or otherwise) to create a new dairy product for resale to businesses holding a permit under the Special Milk Class Permit Program.


Further Processors
  

You are a further processor if your business uses Canadian dairy ingredients to manufacture a finished product in Canada which is not subject to a Tariff Rate Quota (import controls), and which meets the eligibility requirements of the Special Milk Class Permit Program.


Processors

Canadian processors are manufacturers of dairy products made using milk as the main dairy ingredient.
