In the Spotlight

New Lives & Canada and the Hungarian Revolution - two exhibitions at the Hungarian Cultural Foundation, Budapest (February 20-March 4, 2007).
Spearheaded by the Embassy of Canada in Budapest, two exhibitions - New Lives and Canada and the Hungarian Revolution will be open to the public from February 20 to March 4, 2007, at the Hungarian Cultural Foundation (1014 Budapest, Szentháromság tér 6., tel: +36 1 224-8100). New Lives is a portrait exhibit of 50 prominent Hungarian-Canadians whose photos were specifically commissioned by one of Canada's finest photographers, V. Tony Hauser, whereas the accompanying collection, Canada and the Hungarian Revolution marks the 50th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution by presenting archival documents and photos. The two exhibits can be visited from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 until 18:00.  Downloadable New Lives exhibit brochure in Hungarian and in English.
