Ambassador’s Science & Technology Round Table 2006
On Thursday, November 23 the Canadian Embassy in Germany held its third Ambassador’s S&T Round Table on the subject of "Fuels for Future Generations". As in the past, it was held at the German Bundestag (parliament) and served as a forum to discuss current technology issues that have political and business facets.
Canada and Germany sign Youth Mobility Memorandum of Understanding
On June 20, 2006, in Berlin, the Canadian and German Ministers for Foreign Affairs, Peter MacKay and Frank-Walter Steinmeier, signed a Youth Mobility Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Canada and Germany .
The objective of the MoU is to encourage the mobility and exchanges of youth from the two countries through work and travel.
