On Thursday, November 23 the Canadian Embassy in Germany held its third Ambassador’s S&T Round Table on the subject of "Fuels for Future Generations". As in the past, it was held at the German Bundestag (parliament) and served as a forum to discuss current technology issues that have political and business facets.

Peter MacKay and Frank-Walter Steinmeier Canada and Germany sign Youth Mobility Memorandum of Understanding
On June 20, 2006, in Berlin, the Canadian and German Ministers for Foreign Affairs, Peter MacKay and Frank-Walter Steinmeier, signed a Youth Mobility Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Canada and Germany . The objective of the MoU is to encourage the mobility and exchanges of youth from the two countries through work and travel.
