Wednesday, February 7: The embassies of Australia, Canada and Norway and the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to invite you to the opening of a photographic exhibition by John Rodsted (www.austcare.org.au): HALFWAY - BOSNIA 10 YEARS AFTER THE WAR, on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Syntagma Metro Station. The exhibition documenting the devastating impact of landmines in post-war Bosnia, is held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Mine Ban Convention (also known as Ottawa Convention). Wednesday, February 14: In the context of the photo exhibition HALFWAY - BOSNIA 10 YEARS AFTER THE WAR, a public lecture on "Landmines: a disaster we can prevent" will take place at the Grande Bretagne Hotel, on Wednesday, February 14 at 7:00p.m. The public event is organised by the embassies of Australia, Canada and Norway and the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the kind assistance of ELIAMEP.
