Policy Development New policy development is a key function of the Human Security Research and Outreach Program (HSROP), supported by the Human Security Policy Division of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada. The 'Fast Talk' team model and discussion papers are two of the approaches used by HSROP to explore new directions in human security policy. Fast Talks The Fast Talk team concept was developed to provide Foreign Affairs officials with a flexible means to rapidly access high quality policy-relevant research through engagement with prominent Canadian and international experts. The final reports from Fast Talk exercises held in 2005-06 are available below.
