Canada Opportunities Agency, today issued the following statement condemning a car-bombing attempt on the life of the President of Somalia’s Transitional Federal
Government, Abdullahi Yusuf:</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 12pt">“Canada condemns this attack and calls on all Somalis to resolve their differences
peacefully. While we are relieved that the President was not hurt, the attack regrettably
claimed the lives of several people.</span></span></p>
