Dr. McArthur has served as interim Chair since November 22, 2005, and will continue to provide the Foundation with the outstanding leadership that he has already demonstrated.” </span></span></p> <br> <p><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 12pt">The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada is an independent, not-for-profit think tank on Canada’s relations with Asia. The Foundation functions as a knowledge broker, bringing together people and knowledge to provide the most current and comprehensive research, analysis and information on Canada’s transpacific relations. McArthur </span>was appointed Interim Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada in November 2005. He previously served as Dean of the Faculty, Harvard University Graduate School of Business, from 1980-1995, and since 1996 as Senior Advisor to the President of The World Bank. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Dr. McArthur completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Forestry from the University of British Columbia before earning a doctorate in business administration from Harvard Business School in 1963.</span></span></span></p> </body> </html>
