<p align="CENTER"><font face="Arial" size="+1"><strong>NEW BRUNSWICK EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION</strong></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew is pleased to announce that the project submitted by the University
of Moncton, Moncton, has been selected for funding under the Development of International Business Studies
Program. The Program's seed funding, provided over three years, aims to assist academic institutions in
offering high quality international business training.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"We recognize the important contribution that Canadian universities and colleges make to our prosperity," said
Mr. Pettigrew. "The University of Moncton will play an active role in training today's and tomorrow's exporters,
and will make Canadian industry more competitive around the globe."</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">The University of Moncton will work toward providing its students with increased international opportunities. It
will also enhance a special partnership between academic institutions and private sector companies, and assist
small and medium-sized businesses to participate in trade missions.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">The other institutions that were selected are:</font></p>

<p><font face="Arial">• Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, Regina, Saskatchewan</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">• Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">• Collège Boréal, Sudbury, Ontario</font></p>
