Education in Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia's Department of Education is responsible for the provision of educational programming to children and adults through the public education system.

Once you have begun your settlement you should consider enrolling your children in public school and possibly consider educational opportunities for yourself and other adults in your family.  In order to work in your field of expertise, you may be required to take courses to meet Canadian or Nova Scotian professional standards.

This section of the web site provides further information on education for children and adults, including English language instruction programs.
