Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday,
from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The office is closed between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

  • Temporary Resident Applications
    1. Applications for a temporary residence visa, study or work permits are accepted between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for those who submit documents in person and between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. for couriers or representatives.
  • Immigrant Applications
    1. Applications for permanent residence in Canada are accepted between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. If you have been advised that your immigrant file is complete, you or your representative should come to the Visa Section to submit travel passport(s) and/or other documents you have been asked to present to obtain a permanent residence visa between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
    2. Additional payments (i.e. Right of Permanent Residence fee or Processing fee for any new dependents) are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    3. Additional documents should be sent by mail/courier or dropped off in the Visa Section mailbox during working hours
