As part of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Canada and Malaysia, the High Commission of Canada is pleased to welcome Her Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) OTTAWA to Malaysia. During its stay at Port Klang, HMCS OTTAWA, her officers and crew will be involved in a varied program of activities including a briefing and tour for the media, official calls on Malaysia government officials and supporting charitable causes. - The Gibraltar Point International Artist Residency Program: June 1-30, 2007 - Call for Submissions
Artscape and The Ontario Arts Council invite Canadian and international artists from all disciplines (including writers, visual artists, film/video artists, composers, musicians, etc.) to submit their applications to participate in The Gibraltar Point International Artist Residency Program in Toronto Island. The program aims to further the professional development of artists by encouraging and inspiring new ideas, influences and sharing of expertise. Successful applicants will receive accommodation, meals and a private work studio. Application forms are available on

- 28th Annual International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP)
Canadian non-profit, non-governmental organization, Equitas (formerly the Canadian Human Rights Foundation) will be holding its 28th International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP) in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Québec, Canada, from June 10 to June 29, 2007.
