<p align="CENTER"><font size="+1"><strong>CANADA CONDEMNS VIOLENCE IN KOSOVO</strong></font></p>
<p>Foreign Affairs Minister Bill Graham today issued the following statement strongly
condemning the violent clashes between Albanian and Serb communities that swept
across Kosovo, leaving at least 20 dead.</p>
<p>"Canadians are very concerned about the escalating violence, which threatens the
peace in Kosovo. We call on all parties to cooperate fully with local and international
officials to put an end to this dangerous situation, and to exercise calm and restraint in
order to avoid any further deterioration."</p>
