THE AMERICAS IN MONTREAL</span></span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif">International Trade Minister Jim Peterson will attend the International Economic Forum
of the Americas/Conference of Montreal and participate in a signing ceremony between
the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) and the Dominican Republic on June 2. </span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif">The CCC specializes in international procurement markets for Canadian exporters and
provides services to help them win export sales. </span></span></p>
<br>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif">The International Economic Forum of the Americas/Conference of Montreal, held
May 30 to June 2, 2005, aims to promote open discussion of major international
economic issues, and to facilitate contact between representatives from business,
government and international agencies, as well as the academic world and civil society.</span></span></p>
