The mission seeks to establish business and trade relationships between Canadian companies and African partners. </p> <p>This mission fulfills one of the commitments made by Prime Minister Jean&nbsp;Chr&eacute;tien at the G8 Summit in Kananaskis last June. During the Summit the Prime Minister announced steps to develop stronger trade and investment links between Canada and African nations and increased access to Canadian markets for African exporters. This trade mission offers a unique opportunity to observe Canada's international business development efforts as well as Canada's trade programs and policies in action.</p> <p>All media representatives are requested to submit their requests no later than Friday, November 1, 2002, to the attention of the Team Canada Division.
