FTAA Meeting in Ecuador

Media representatives are advised that International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew will visit Quito, Ecuador, from
October 30 to November 1. The Minister will attend the seventh Ministerial Meeting of the Free Trade Area of the
Americas (FTAA) as well as the seventh Business Forum of the Americas.
On the margins of the Ministerial Meeting, Minister Pettigrew will undertake a series of bilateral meetings. He will also
participate in events to promote and celebrate the Canadian business presence in Ecuador, including the unveiling ceremony
of "Vision of the New Quito Airport."
