<p>Media representatives are advised that International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew will attend an informal meeting of
WTO Trade Ministers in Sydney, Australia, on November 14 and 15, to discuss the Doha round of multilateral trade
negotiations.</p>
<p>The meeting will be hosted by Australian Trade Minister Mark Vaile. It brings together trade ministers from some 25
countries to discuss progress since the Fourth WTO Ministerial Conference held in Doha, Qatar, in November 2001.
Discussions will also focus on how to build momentum to ensure a successful Fifth WTO Ministerial Conference,
scheduled to take place in Mexico in September 2003.</p>
