<html> <head> <meta name="Generator" content="Corel WordPerfect 8"> <title>GRAHAM - NATO MEETING IN ICELAND</title> </head> <body text="#000000" link="#0000ff" vlink="#551a8b" alink="#ff0000" bgcolor="#c0c0c0"> <p><strong>May 13, 2002 No. 67</strong></p> <p>Media representatives are advised that Foreign&nbsp;Affairs Minister Bill&nbsp;Graham will travel to Reykjavik, Iceland, from May 14 to15, 2002, to attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Foreign Ministers' Meeting.</p> <p>The NATO Foreign Ministers are slated to discuss approving the new NATO-Russia Council and defining ways to meet the new security challenges of the 21st century. This ministerial meeting is a critical step leading up to the Prague Leaders' Summit, to be held November 21 and 22, during which the Allies are expected to invite new members to join NATO. </p> <p>In addition to taking part in two days of NATO Ministerial working sessions, Minister Graham will also attend several bilateral meetings, including one with Iceland's Foreign Minister Halldor Asgrimsson.
