Travel Document for Permanent Resident of Canada

Citizenship and Immigration Canada in Havana advises all permanent residents that the process for a travel document can take several days to complete and requires an interview. If you do not have your permanent resident card, it is strongly recommended that you do not travel until you do.

Under certain circumstances, you may need a Canadian Embassy abroad to re-determine your permanent resident status, for instance if your proof of status (permanent resident card) becomes lost or out of date. If your permanent resident status is reconfirmed you will receive a travel document in your passport to this effect, to allow you to travel back to Canada.

WORKING HOURS FOR APPLICATION FOR A TRAVEL DOCUMENT:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 8:30am to 10:30am
