"Our Land: Contemporary Art from the Arctic"
Santa Fe, New Mexico
A spectacular exhibition entitled "Our Land: Contemporary Art from the Arctic" opens at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on 20 October. "Our Land" is the first major exhibition of contemporary art from the territorial collection of Nunavut. It includes more than 50 artworks from sculpture to prints, textile art to photography, video and sound installations. The exhibition will continue through 4 February 2007.
