The Political, Economic Relations & Public Affairs (PERPA) section monitors and reports on political and economic developments of interest to Canada within our territory (Southern California, Arizona, Clark County Nevada and New Mexico). We address matters of importance to Canada through Public Affairs initiatives of diplomacy. The PERPA section provides academic relations, focusing on Canadian Studies, at universities. The Consular Section of the Canadian Consulate General provides services for Canadian citizens living in or visiting California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Guam. Our range of services include providing information on applying for a passport, applying for Canadian citizenship, and providing assistance to Canadian citizens in emergency situations.
