Vancouver-Whistler Olympics David L. Emerson will be the keynote speaker at the
British Columbia Economic Forum hosted by the Vancouver Board of Trade on April 21,
2006.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif">Minister Emerson will talk about Canada’s Pacific Gateway Strategy and how British
Columbia is well positioned to benefit from its trade and investment ties with Pacific
nations.</span></span></p>
