<p><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif">The Honourable Peter MacKay, Foreign Affairs Minister and Minister of the Atlantic
Canada Opportunities Agency, will attend the G8 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Moscow
on June 29, 2006.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt"><span style="font-family: 'Arial', sans-serif">The Foreign Ministers’ Meeting will provide an important forum for the discussion of this
year’s G8 Summit themes of energy security, infectious diseases and education.
Minister MacKay will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with several of his G8
counterparts to discuss current bilateral and multilateral issues of interest.</span></span></p>
