<p><font face="Arial"></font><font face="Arial">John Manley, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will release a report prepared by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
on the policies, practices and procedures followed by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade
in the case of criminal misconduct by foreign diplomats, particularly instances of driving while impaired. The
report was commissioned by the Minister following the death of Catherine MacLean who, on January 27, 2001,
was struck by a car driven by Andrei Knyazev, a Russian diplomat, in an accident that also caused serious
injuries to Catherine Doré. The report will be released at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2001, and

<p><font face="Arial">Le ministre des Affaires étrangères, M. John Manley, publiera un rapport que le sous-ministre des Affaires
étrangères a préparé sur les politiques, les pratiques et les procédures que le ministère des Affaires étrangères
et du Commerce international suit dans les cas de faute criminelle commise par des diplomates étrangers,
surtout dans les cas de conduite avec facultés affaiblies. Le rapport a été commandé par le ministre à la suite
de la mort de Catherine MacLean qui, le 27 janvier 2001, a été renversée par une voiture que conduisait Andrei
Knyazev, un diplomate russe, dans un accident qui a aussi causé des blessures graves à Catherine Doré. Le
rapport sera rendu public à 10 h 30 le mercredi 14 mars 2001 et affiché dans le site Web du Ministère à
